Nissan is using the Paris auto show to debut its slightly revised compact minivan, the Note, a popular B-segment vehicle that will not make it to our shores.
Exterior changes to the front end include a new grille, bumper, and headlamp treatment in an effort to impart a more upmarket temperament to the Note’s appearance. In back, the taillamps are now darkened, and new 15- and 16-inch wheel choices fill the wells.
Inside, passengers face a revised dashboard featuring new combination gauges and a revised center stack. The driver may notice a suspension tuned for added comfort and a bit more responsiveness.
The engine bay features both gasoline and diesel powertrains that have been revised for lower emissions—119 g/km for the 1.5-liter diesel and 139 g/km for the tiny 1.4-liter gas motor. Grams per kilometer of CO2 is a common European measurement for vehicle pollution.
The Note is not scheduled for sale here in the U.S. but we suspect it would hold its own, given our rising fuel prices and emissions standards.
