Who are you guys?
Parker nissan note
Available from the 1st of October 2013 the new Nissan Note can be found in any one of the firm’s 220-plus dealers. It’s not necessarily a high-demand model and availability won’t be limited, so it’s reasonable to expect dealers will be able to offer discounts or extra incentives in time, if not from the very start.
You will find examples with brokers and car supermarket sites also, and you could expect a choice of colours and specifications still but you’re not likely to save that much money so make sure you are not compromising on your ideal choice for a matter of a few hundred pounds.
Regardless of where you buy the car we’d suggest that Acenta trim is the model to aim for – and Nissan agrees, expecting 85 percent of sales to be this mid-spec model – thanks to its standard cruise control, air-conditioning, Bluetooth and electric windows.

A Nissan Note isn’t likely to have been driven very hard so there’s little need to look out for worn tyres or abused brakes.
However cars like this often spend plenty of time in the city so check the rubber for damage, and give the wheels a once over too – if they’ve spent much time near or bounding up kerbs then they could be scuffed or even bent.
And with lots of traffic light starts there’s going to be lots of gearchanges so the clutch could take a hammering; make sure it engages cleanly and smoothly – or budget for a replacement.
As a family car the interior may have had plenty of footfall from children, so marks to the trim could be expected – though just as many of these Nissan Notes will be bought by the older generation and never have anyone in the back seats.
Look for a full service history and to remove any doubt it’s worth investing in a Parkers Car History Check to ensure it doesn’t have a hidden past.
As ever keeping the car in the best condition possible will help you realise the maximum resale price when it comes to selling it. Ensure that any spillages from children are cleaned as soon as possible to keep the interior in tip top condition and deal with any car park dings or scratches in a timely fashion.
And even though you may only do low miles a year, it’s worth having the car serviced regularly as it shows potential buyers that you care about the car’s maintenance. Ensure you have a record of all the work done to it.
